Nice, big sites, very pleasant and accommodating staff met us after office hours. Beautiful scenery on the banks of the Trinity River. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked. To me, the biggest drawback was the "pay showers." I opted not to shower, so I can't say what kind of condition they were.

PSA:: So has anyone seen a Bigfoot here...?

Tent camped here last year..very quiet and very clean. Small bait shop. Swimming pool..only draw back was the river access was very limited to only one small area..we were luck to get a site next to it. People were friendly and peace an quiet...oh my I need that-clean water-big trees-peace and quiet...the last day we were there a dry thunder storm rolled in...scary and awesome at the same time...took off early cuz the rim fire was going on and didn't want to get caught in another fire caused by all the lightning...a few months after I seen this place on discovery channel-they were really hunting big foot out there!!! Lmao

This place was Julie magical in its own way unfortunately the fire has ripped through the area and has destroyed it hopefully they will refurbish it and get it back up and running I will guarantee go there for sure as soon as it's up and running again

Always enjoy our time here. Great tent camping. Cabins very clean. Perfect location for rafting. James always has the best fishing info.
